Redneck Christmas in August

Come dressed in your best, or as some might say your "most bestest" and get ready to have a git down like no other. We are going to have a little Redneck Christmas Extravaganza that is sure to be full of surprises and yule tide joy that will have your mouth hanging to the floor. Break out the moo-moos, overalls, jorts (jean-shorts), mullets, bright red lipstick, hair rollers, tassels, and your Christmas sweaters and you'll fit into the craziest country lovin family this side a the missippi! Make sure you read this again your best country accent and you'll understand more of the spelling! Don't hold back and be sure to be proud to be a Texan for this night!

Tacky Prom

Recently many of you attended a wonderful little night called "The Prom". I'm sure you bought a beautiful dress (girls) and picked out a swanky suit (boys) and danced the night away in "Paris", at a "Masquerade", or on a "Red Carpet Affair" and have about a thousand or so pictures to prove it. We also figure that many of you have been freaking out in realizing that there aren't many more opportunities to go on the epic search for that amazing dress or suit to strut for a night of dancing and swooning! WELL HAVE NO FEAR-Foundation will be putting on the GREATEST PROM YOU'VE EVER HEARD OF! However, as you can see from the examples, this isn't your average senior prom-we're pulling out all the stops! So head to your favorite thrift store or possible even your parents closets and grab the most fabulous vintage-shabby-tacky get up you can find. Sequins, Metallics, Canes, Top Hats, and Crazy Crazy Colors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! Can't wait to see you at the Prom!

Caddyshack-tastic

Now if you've never watched the great American classic Caddyshack you probably are a little bit lost. Don't fret, your friendly Recreation Chairs are here to help you figure this one out. Caddyshack is a call for everything golfy, boaty, preppy, etc--but obviously the over the top, exaggerated version! We're talking plaids, knee high socks, loafers, pleaded skirts, parts down the middle, fur, visors, fanny packs...you know the works! Props like golf clubs, tennis rackets, etc are highly encouraged. Members only jackets are always a great touch too. We can't wait to see what this theme night will bring out but we know you won't let us down!
